MaKieley's BIG DAY!

Yesterday was MaKieley's awards assembly at school. She received an award for Perfect Attendance as well as the Writing award! (Boy was her Grammie excited!) Today was her last full day of Kindergarten! She has two half days left and she will be on her way to FIRST GRADE! We can hardly believe the year has gone by so quickly! I have posted a picture of MaKieley with her awards, her principal Ms. McDaniel giving her the awards, and Grammie and MaKieley "the writers".
Not much else going on around here right now. Mom and Dad's reception just over a week ago went very well! And we were able to surprise them with a visit from Pudden & Pap (my dad's parents) and Joe and Shelia (my dad's brother and sister-in-law). It was very exciting and MaKieley kept the secret very well!
The baby is doing great! Just kicking a lot! I have another dr.'s appointment next Wednesday and another sonogram on the 14th of June! We will post more pictures then! John's job is going well! He enjoys it most days and it keeps him busy! Very busy some days but the nice part is he also has time to be home and gets home at a decent hour!

We would like you to keep our friends the McCord's in your prayers. They just had their first baby! Baby Lincoln! He is beautiful! Only two or three days before Lincoln was born they found out that Keith's cancer was back. It is in his brain, spleen, liver, and hip bone! Keith is only like 30! Please pray for their peace and for God to work in their lives! They are very precious people!
We love you all and would love to hear from any of you!

Not much going on!

Well not much has changed. The baby is very active and kicks a lot! So much so I am not getting much sleep right now! This is due to the baby being so active and I am just having a hard time getting comfortable! You know pregnancy is really hard on the sleeping habits of a tummy sleeper!
This Saturday is mom and dad's anniversary reception so we have been pretty busy making sure everything is put together for that but I think it is all done now! Should be a nice day! We will miss all of you who cannot be with us but we know you will be there in spirit!
Happy Mother's Day to all you "mommies". We hope you all have a great day!

May 3, 2006

Today we had another doctor's appointment! No conclusion was made on our due date though. The specialist told us at our last sonogram that our due date was somewhere between August 17th and September 17th. The August date came from the dates of how everything fell and the September date came from the size of our baby. Neither one is conclusive enough for us to say one or the other is right. The specialist said most doctors will go with the dates making our due date in August. My doctor said she wanted to go with the babies size for now (making our due date in September) and keep a close eye on how the baby was growing. When we were pregnant with MaKieley some of you might remember there was some confusion with her due date. MaKieley was very small for the first two trimesters and began to put on weight very fast after we had moved into the third trimester. It may be the same situation for this child. Our doctor has asked us to pick a date that we want to have the baby and we decided on August 30th. 08-30-06. Other than the due date everything looks great and the baby is extremely active. In fact the other day when MaKieley decided to sing rather loudly to the baby (she normally does this but just not quite as loud) the baby kicked her in the face! The antagonizing starts!
Keep watching our site as I will be putting up the latest sonogram pictures soon.
